BALL VALVE OD8 - OD8 BLACK - HBVU0808B

The HBVU0808B is a Fluid-fit straight ball valve with sockets for tube outside diameters of Ø8 mm and Ø8 mm. Its manual handle opens or closes the flow to isolate a branch or connected equipment.

The body is made from acetal plastic POM (polyoxymethylene), with socket seals made from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber). The push-to-connect arrangement requires tubing of the correct outside diameter with a clean, square-cut end. The valve is intended for shut-off rather than precise pressure regulation or metering.

The temperature range is +1°C to +65°C. The series rating table allows up to 10 bar at +25°C and up to 7 bar at +65°C, while the tubing and fluid limits must also be observed. Fully depressurise before disconnecting or servicing; closing the supply alone does not remove trapped pressure. Subject to compatibility checks, typical applications include:
