FEMALE PLUG OD8 - HPF08B

The HPF08B is a Fluid-fit end cap for tubing with an outside diameter of Ø8 mm. Its closed socket fits directly onto the tube end to terminate that line.

The body is made from acetal plastic POM (polyoxymethylene), with a seal made from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber). The push-to-connect socket accepts the tube without tools, provided the end is square-cut and the size is correct. This cap fits a tube end; it is not a threaded plug.

The operating range is 0°C to +65°C. The published maximum ceiling of 10.3 bar does not apply regardless of size and temperature: allowable pressure must follow the manufacturer’s rating table and the connected tubing limits. Disconnect only after the circuit has been fully depressurised. Depending on fluid compatibility and operating conditions, applications include:

• Water treatment systems
• Pneumatic circuits, after checking application conditions
• Auxiliary low-pressure circuits in desalination systems
• Food and beverage equipment with a suitable, compatible medium
