MALE PLUG OD 3/8 - HPP3/8G

The HPP3/8G is a Fluid-fit male plug with a stem outside diameter of 3/8 in, intended to close an unused matching push-fit socket. It is inserted into the fitting socket rather than placed over a tube end.

It is made from acetal plastic POM (polyoxymethylene). Retention and sealing are provided by the mechanism and seal of the receiving socket. It is neither a threaded plug nor a female tube end cap. The socket and stem sizes must match exactly.

The operating range is 0°C to +65°C. The published maximum ceiling of 10.3 bar does not apply regardless of size and temperature: allowable pressure must follow the manufacturer’s rating table and the connected tubing limits. Disconnect only after the circuit has been fully depressurised. Depending on fluid compatibility and operating conditions, applications include:

• Water treatment systems
• Pneumatic circuits, after checking application conditions
• Auxiliary low-pressure circuits in desalination systems
• Food and beverage equipment with a suitable, compatible medium
