STEM REDUCER OD6 - OD4 BLACK - HGJ0604B

The HGJ0604B is a Fluid-fit stem reducer with a male stem outer diameter of Ø6 mm and a socket for tubing with an outer diameter of Ø4 mm. The stem inserts into a compatible larger push-fit socket, adapting it to smaller tubing in an in-line configuration.

The high-quality acetal plastic POM (polyoxymethylene) body incorporates EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber) sealing at the tube socket. The Push-to-connect mechanism enables quick tube insertion without tools at the push-fit connection. Retention and sealing of the male stem are provided by the compatible receiving fitting.

The operating temperature range is 0°C to +65°C, with a pressure ceiling of up to 10.3 bar under suitable conditions. The allowable pressure is not the same at every temperature and must be checked against the manufacturer's table and the limits of the connected tubing. Disconnect only after the line has been fully depressurized. Subject to media compatibility and operating conditions, applications include:
